Recently, with the smooth landing of CZ3894 Guangzhou to Chaoshan flight at Chaoshan International Airport, Shantou Airlines officially accepted its 10th ARJ21 aircraft, bringing its total fleet size to 26.

The ARJ21 aircraft is the first regional passenger jet designed and manufactured independently by China in accordance with international standards. Taking into account factors such as aircraft type characteristics and regional aviation market demand, China Southern Airlines has established Shantou Airlines as the second main operating base for ARJ21 aircrafts, and continued to steadily put more ARJ21 transport capacity into the Chaoshan market. Currently, China Southern Airlines has 34 ARJ21 routes departing from Chaoshan Airport, reaching 31 domestic destinations. The number of ARJ21 inbound and outbound flights increased from 194 in 2022 to 5,542 in 2023. From January to October this year, the number of flights has exceeded 10,000, greatly improving the accessibility and convenience from passengers traveling to and from Chaoshan, facilitating economic, trade, cultural and tourism exchanges, and serving local socio-economic development.

　　汕头航空第十架ARJ21飞机入列

　　近日，随着CZ3894广州至潮汕航班平稳落地潮汕国际机场，汕头航空正式接收第十架ARJ21飞机，机队总规模达到26架。

　　ARJ21飞机是中国按照国际标准、自主研发设计制造的首架支线客机。南航结合机型特点、支线航空市场需求等因素，将汕头航空设立为ARJ21飞机第二运营主基地，并持续稳定增加对潮汕市场的ARJ21运力投入。目前南航由潮汕机场始发的ARJ21航线已达34条，通达国内31个航点，ARJ21进出港航班量从2022年的194班增至2023年的5542班，今年1至10月已突破1万班，大大提升了旅客来往潮汕的通达性和便利度，畅通经贸与文旅交流，服务地方社会经济发展。
