On the afternoon of November 19, the Global Teochew Youth Elites Innovation Sharing Conference and the 8th Global Chaoren Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference was held at Shantou Marriott Hotel.With the theme of "New Teochew Youth, New Economy, and New Quality Productivity", the Conference invited Chaozhou-origin overseas Chinese representatives, entrepreneurs, investors, and representatives of Chaozhou-origin youth to conduct in-depth face-to-face exchanges, for the purpose of building a global platform for cooperation and exchange between global Teochew business people and well-known enterprises and local industries, and contributing to the high-quality development of Shantou.

The event focused on publicizing and promoting Shantou's characteristic industries and strategic emerging industries, such as textiles and clothing, digital economy, and  fine chemical industry. During the Conference, 63 projects were signed with a total investment of RMB 62.2 billion. Investment cooperation projects of some well-known companies such as China Resources, Vanyang, China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited, GLP, and Hello Inc. were signed on the venue. The event also organized groundbreaking and completion ceremonies for 88 projects under the category of “Six-Pronged Development Measures”, covering major industries, transportation infrastructure, meeting people’s basic living needs, science and technology innovation platforms, exhibition & tourism, and major overseas Chinese related fields, with a total investment of over RMB 120 billion.

　　全球潮青菁英创新分享会暨第八届潮创大会举行

　　11月19日下午，全球潮青菁英创新分享会暨第八届潮创大会在我市万豪酒店举行。会议以“新潮青、新经济、新质生产力”为主题，邀请潮籍侨领、企业家、投资人、潮籍青年代表等“面对面”深入开展交流，搭建全球潮商、知名企业与地方产业合作交流平台，助力汕头高质量发展。

　　活动围绕纺织服装、数字经济、精细化工等汕头特色产业和战略性新兴产业，开展重点宣传推介。大会期间签约项目63个，投资总额622亿元，华润、万洋、港中旅、普洛斯、哈啰等一批知名企业的投资合作项目在现场签约。活动还推出了“六个一批”共88个项目举行开工、竣工仪式，涵盖重大产业、交通基础设施、民生保障、科创平台、会展旅游及重大涉侨等领域，总投资超1200亿元。
