For the purpose of showcasing the "Overseas Chinese Contributions", "Overseas Chinese Achievements" and "Overseas Chinese Future" arising from Shantou's education services for overseas Chinese over the past century, Shantou organized overseas Chinese education achievements exchange event themed "Overseas Chinese Going Global • Rooted in Chaoshan" in Shantou Overseas Chinese Middle School on November 20.

On site and online, representatives from 25 Chinese language schools from 12 countries jointly wrote the Chinese character "Qiao" (Overseas Chinese), with every stroke expressing the profound love of overseas Chinese for their motherland China and their hometown Shantou. The Event specially invited experts from the "Teochew Teachers Think Tank" to suggest ways forward for Shantou’s educational undertakings for overseas Chinese, for the purpose of further consolidating the strong passion of overseas Chinese representatives and Chaoshan entrepreneurs in supporting their hometown Shantou’s educational undertakings, and jointly pursuing the path of innovative development of Chinese language education.

The Event also announced the establishment of three overseas Chinese school development institutions, including the Development Advisory Committee, Academic Advisory Committee, and Alumni Advisory Committee, and appointed advisors; and release plans for foreign students to study and conduct research in Shantou.

　　汕头举行侨教育成果交流活动

　　为展示汕头教育百年来为侨服务的“侨贡献”“侨成果”和“侨未来”，11月20日，我市在华侨中学举行“侨行天下·根在潮汕”侨教育成果交流活动。

　　现场及线上，来自12个国家25所华文学校的代表共同书写“侨”字，一笔一画间书写着华侨爱国爱乡的深情厚谊。活动特邀“潮师智库”专家为汕头侨教育事业把脉支招，进一步凝聚广大侨领、潮商支持家乡教育等各项事业的浓厚感情，共谋华文教育创新发展之路。

　　活动还宣布成立发展顾问委员会、学术顾问委员会及校友顾问委员会等三个侨校发展机构并进行顾问聘任；发布海外学生来汕学习研学方案等。
