During the New Year holiday, Shantou Live Insects Museum, the first large live insect exhibition project introduced by Chaoshan Historical and Cultural Expo Center, was opened to visitors, attracting many citizens and tourists. The exhibition will last until March 31.
Shantou Live Insects Museum features ten exhibition areas, including the specimen art area, arthropod area, butterfly area, crawling insect hall, mantis area, chirping insect area, bamboo knot insect area, ant area, beetle area, and amphibian hall. It boasts a collection of over 180 species of live insects gathered from all seven continents, along with hundreds of very precious preserved insect specimens, allowing visitors to observe and understand insects up close. Through engaging interactions and explanations, Shantou Live Insects Museum aims to enhance the public's understanding of insects and their ecological value, stimulate curiosity among young people, and encourage them to explore nature and develop the awareness of environmental protection, fostering a generation with that values life, protects nature, and conserves biodiversity.

汕头活体昆虫博物馆开馆
元旦假期,潮汕历史文化博览中心首次引入的大型活体昆虫展览项目——汕头活体昆虫博物馆开馆,吸引了不少市民游客。该展览将持续至3月31日。
汕头活体昆虫博物馆设置标本艺术区、节肢动物区、蝴蝶区、爬行馆、螳螂区、鸣虫区、竹节虫区、蚂蚁区、甲虫区、两栖馆等十个展区,汇集了来自世界七大洲180余种活体昆虫以及几百件非常珍贵的昆虫标本,让游客能够近距离观察和了解昆虫;通过趣味性十足的互动、讲解,增强公众对昆虫及其生态价值的认识,激发青少年儿童探索自然的好奇心,埋下爱护生命、保护自然、保护生物多样性的环保意识的种子。
