The Shantou Aerospace Science and Technology Expo (hereinafter referred to as the “Expo”) kicked off on January 15 at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center. This expo is the first science popularization activity in the field of aviation, aerospace and national defense education in Shantou, which integrates demonstration, interactivity and fun. Citizens can experience the unique allure of military technology and aerospace right at their doorstep.

The Expo covers an area of 30,000 square meters and consists of four themed exhibition areas,: namely the Aviation and Aerospace Technology Exhibition, the exhibition of Major National Heavy Weapons and Military Equipment, the Outdoor Large Model Exhibition Area, and the Children's Amusement Park & Catering Area, as well as 30 core highlight exhibition areas. The Expo showcases more than 300 exhibits, all of which are precious physical objects, entity models and other “major national heavy weapons and military equipment”. It provides a comprehensive overview of the development of China's aviation, aerospace, and national defense sectors in the aspect of "land, sea, sky, and space". Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the remarkable achievements of China’s national defense science and technology undertakings with Chinese characteristics..

　　汕头航空航天科技博览会开幕

　　汕头航空航天科技博览会1月15日在汕头国际会展中心开幕。本次博览会是我市首个集示范性、互动性、趣味性于一体的航空、航天、国防教育领域的科普活动，市民朋友可以在“家门口”近距离感受军事科技和航空航天的独特魅力。

　　博览会面积达3万平方米，包含航空航天科技展、大国重器军事装备展、户外大型模型展区、儿童乐园餐饮区四个主题展区、30个核心亮点展区，涉及展品300余件，均为珍贵实物、实体模型等“大国重器”，向观众全方位展示“陆、海、空、天”中国航空航天国防发展历程，感受中国特色国防科技事业乘风破浪的辉煌成就。
