The Shantou Aerospace Science and Technology Expo (hereinafter referred to as the “Expo”) commenced on January 15 at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center. This Expo marks Shantou's inaugural science popularization initiative in aviation, aerospace, and national defense education, featuring demonstrations, interactivity, and engaging activities. Citizens can experience the unique allure of military technology and aerospace right at their doorstep.

The Expo spans an area of 30,000 square meters and features four main exhibition areas: the Aviation and Aerospace Technology Exhibition, the Highly Strategic National Military Equipment Exhibition, the Outdoor Large Model Exhibition Area, and the Children's Amusement Park & Catering Area. Additionally, there are 30 core highlight exhibition areas. The Expo showcases over 300 exhibits, which include valuable artifacts, physical models, and other significant representations of China's status as a great power. It provides a comprehensive overview of the development of China's aviation, aerospace, and national defense sectors across "land, sea, sky, and space". Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the remarkable achievements of national defense science and technology undertakings with Chinese characteristics, fostering their sense of patriotism as China forges ahead like a ship braving all winds and waves.

The Expo will last until February 12. Visitors can purchase tickets through Douyin group buying for the "Shantou Aerospace Science and Technology Expo" or by searching for the WeChat Official Account "航展来了" (Air-show is Coming).

　　汕头航空航天科技博览会开幕

　　汕头航空航天科技博览会1月15日在汕头国际会展中心开幕。本次博览会是我市首个集示范性、互动性、趣味性于一体的航空、航天、国防教育领域的科普活动，市民朋友可以在“家门口”近距离感受军事科技和航空航天的独特魅力。

　　博览会面积达3万平方米，包含航空航天科技展、大国重器军事装备展、户外大型模型展区、儿童乐园餐饮区四个主题展区、30个核心亮点展区，涉及展品300余件，均为珍贵实物、实体模型等“大国重器”，向观众全方位展示“陆、海、空、天”中国航空航天国防发展历程，感受中国特色国防科技事业乘风破浪的辉煌成就。
