Watching lanterns during the Lantern Festival is an exclusive romance passed down from generation to generation by the Chinese nation, where people pray for good weather, peace, and prosperity in the coming year. The 2025 Shantou Small Park International Lantern Show will be held from February 12 to March 9, inviting locals, returned overseas Chinese, and guests from around the world to enjoy a romantic night of lights.

This Lantern Show will feature themed creative lantern streets, characteristic cultural activities, cultural and creative fairs, and immersive experiences in the historical and cultural blocks of the Small Park, fully showcasing the rich historical heritage and unique folk culture of Shantou. In order to highlight the characteristics of the hometown of overseas Chinese, this year's Lantern Show will continue to display the themes of global overseas Chinese culture, focusing on the main settlements of Chaoshan overseas Chinese in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos and other countries, selecting local intangible cultural heritage and unique products from these countries to design the theme exhibitions, and using shared culture to foster unity among overseas Chinese and strengthen their ties to their ancestral hometown.

　　2025汕头小公园国际元宵灯会即将举办

　　元宵赏灯，是中华民族代代传承的专属浪漫，祈求新的一年风调雨顺、国泰民安。2月12日至3月9日，2025汕头小公园国际元宵灯会将再次与公众相约，邀约海内外嘉宾、返乡华侨、市民游客共度浪漫灯火之夜。

　　本次灯会将在小公园历史文化街区布置主题创意灯街、举办特色文化活动、文创市集、沉浸式体验，全面展示汕头浓厚的历史底蕴和独特的民俗文化。为突出侨乡特色，今年元宵灯会继续做好全球侨文化主题展示，聚焦泰国、马来西亚、新加坡、印尼、柬埔寨、老挝等潮汕华侨主要聚居地，选择当地非遗文化、特色物产来设计主题展陈，以文化为纽带，凝聚侨心、汇集乡情。
