Recently, the "GYBrand China City Index (2025)" compiled by GYBrand Global Yearly Brand Institute was officially released. Shantou City ranks 71st on the "List of China's Top 100 Cities in 2025", and it is the only city in eastern Guangdong that is included in this List.
The "List of China's Top 100 Cities in 2025" is not solely ranked according to the city's GDP or population size, but rather on a comprehensive evaluation of multiple factors. These factors include economic strength, infrastructure, business environment, urban development quality, livability, international reputation, and future growth potential.

汕头上榜“2025年度中国百强城市排行榜”
日前，GYBrand全球品牌研究院编制的《2025年度中国百强城市指数报告》正式发布。汕头在“2025年度中国百强城市排行榜”上名列第71位，是粤东地区此次唯一入选百强榜的城市。
“2025年度中国百强城市排行榜”并非简单按照城市GDP或者人口规模排序，而是从经济实力、基础设施、营商环境、质量建设、居住生活、国际声誉、发展潜力等指标进行综合分析而评出。
