On the morning of February 23, the "Chaoshan Dialect Speech Recognition Project Volunteers’ Voices Recording Work Symposium" was held at Shantou Media Convergence Group. The Symposium summarized the progress of the Project construction, commended the volunteers who had made contributions, and discussed how to promote the widespread application of this technology in the field of media convergence, for the purpose of further promoting the protection and inheritance of Chaoshan dialect.

As the first recognition platform to support both free translation and literal translation of Chaoshan dialect, the development of the Chaoshan dialect speech recognition system was officially initiated in the first half of last year. The Project aims to develop an end-to-end Chaoshan dialect recognition system, establish a platform for inter-translation between Chaoshan dialect and other languages, and apply the system in various scenarios to support the inheritance, protection, and development of Chaoshan dialect. Currently, the Project has entered the phase of optimizing research and development.

　　潮汕方言语音识别项目进入优化阶段

　　2月23日上午，“潮汕方言语音识别项目志愿者录音工作座谈会”在汕头融媒集团举行，会议总结了项目建设进展，表彰了志愿者贡献，并探讨了如何推动该技术在融媒领域的广泛应用，进一步促进潮汕方言的保护与传承。

　　作为首个同时支持潮汕方言意译和直译的识别平台，潮汕方言语音识别系统已于去年上半年正式启动建设。该项目旨在训练出一套基于端到端的潮汕方言识别系统，构建潮汕方言与其他语言的互译平台，并将其应用到多种场景，助力潮汕方言的传承、保护和发展。目前，项目已进入研发优化阶段。
