Recently, Shantou's first batch of physical cards, which integrate foreigners' work permits in China with social security cards (hereinafter referred to as "Physical Social Security Cards"), were officially issued at the Shantou University Branch of the Bank of China.This innovative move marks a significant step for Shantou in optimizing services for foreign talents and elevating its internationalization level.

The newly issued Physical Social Security Card not only serves the traditional functions of a social security card but also incorporates information about the foreigner's work permit in China. This "All-in-one Card" offers multiple services, including payment and settlement, fund distribution, medical treatment and medicine purchases, transportation, cultural tourism, and financial consumption.Moving forward, Shantou will continue to explore innovative application scenarios that benefit the people, offer more diverse support and services for international talent, and strive to create a more open and inclusive urban environment. These efforts are designed to attract global talent and encourage them to pursue entrepreneurship and innovation in Shantou.

　　近日，汕头市首批外国人工作许可证与社保卡融合集成实体卡（简称“实体社保卡”）在中国银行汕头大学支行正式发行。这一创新举措标志着我市在优化外籍人才服务、提升城市国际化水平方面迈出了重要一步。

　　此次发行的实体社保卡不仅具备传统社保卡的功能，还加载了外国人工作许可信息，实现了支付结算、资金发放、就医购药、交通出行、文化旅游、金融消费等多项服务的“一卡通”。接下来，我市将进一步探索更多便民利民的应用场景，为外籍人才提供更多样化的支持和服务，努力打造更加开放包容的城市环境，吸引更多国际人才来汕创新创业。
