On March 18, the 4th Chaoshan International Textile and Garment Exposition (CTGE) was grandly opened at Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
This expo is centered on the theme “Returning to Tradition and Merging with the Trend”. Spanning 130,000 square meters, this CTGE brings together over 1,000 textile and clothing enterprises, 17 major industrial clusters, and purchasers from more than 40 countries. Through more than 50 brand release shows, 5 major thematic forums, 3 product selection matchmaking events and other diverse activities, it will create a high-profile commercial and cultural event for the global textile and clothing industry, comprehensively showcasing Shantou's strength and achievements in the sector.
At the opening ceremony, the “New Four Major Projects” of Shantou’s textile and clothing industry were released, and the 5,000-mu [333-hectare] industrial layout project of Shantou International Textile City was promoted. Contracts were signed for the nylon manufacturing and yarn deep processing project, along with the intelligent cloud warehouse logistics base construction project. The newly established Shantou Textile and Clothing College and Shantou Textile Materials Innovation Center were unveiled. The cluster projects of the e-commerce industry town in Shantou Digital Trade Base were also launched in a concentrated manner. Over 40 domestic and international purchasers reached cooperation intentions with various Shantou industrial cluster enterprises, resulting in an initial contract value of 19.2 billion yuan.

第四届潮汕国际纺织服装博览会隆重开幕
3月18日，第四届潮汕国际纺织服装博览会在汕头国际会展中心隆重开幕。
本次博览会以“归潮”为主题，展会规模达13万平方米，汇集超1000家纺织服装企业、17大产业集群及40余国采购商，将通过50余场品牌发布秀、5大主题论坛、3大选品对接会等多元活动，打造全球纺织服装行业瞩目的商贸与文化盛宴，全面展示汕头纺织服装产业实力与风采。
开幕式上，发布了汕头纺织服装“新四大工程”，推介汕头国际纺织城5000亩产业布局项目；锦纶制造与纱线深加工项目、智能云仓物流基地建设项目进行签约，汕头市纺织服装学院和汕头市纺织材料创新中心揭牌成立，汕头数贸基地电商产业小镇集群项目集中启动；40多家国内外采购商与汕头产业集群的多家企业达成合作意向，首批签约金额达192亿元。
