On the evening of April 7, Guangzhou's stunning lights illuminated the night sky. The Canton Tower, affectionately known as Xiaomanyao, was beautifully adorned with the golden phoenix flower, symbolizing a heartfelt blessing from Shantou, a hometown of many overseas Chinese.

Recently, China launched a national city publicity campaign called "One Flower, One City" with the theme "City Flowers, Chinese Dream" on the Canton Tower. The golden phoenix flowers from Shantou, along with representative flowers from over 20 other cities, are blooming in succession on the Canton Tower. Alongside the stunning offline display of city flowers on the landmark building, the event also utilizes online platforms to share the beauty of city flowers and their stories with a wider audience through live streams, short videos, social media, and other digital channels.

The Golden Phoenix Flower was named Shantou's city flower in 1982. Its vibrant vitality mirrors the enterprising spirit of Shantou's people, who strive for excellence and aim to be the best. It also embodies the pioneering spirit of the Shantou Special Economic Zone, which is characterized by innovation, relentless progress, and selfless dedication.

　　汕头市花“金凤花”亮相广州塔

　　4月7日晚，羊城华灯璀璨，地标建筑——小蛮腰别上了美丽的金凤花，传递着一份来自侨乡汕头的美好祝福。

　　近日，以“城市花 中国梦”为主题的“一朵花 一座城”全国城市宣传活动在广州塔启动。汕头市的金凤花与来自其他20余个城市的代表花卉陆续在广州塔上绽放。除了线下地标建筑的精彩展示外，活动还充分利用线上平台，通过直播、短视频、社交媒体等多种方式，将各个城市的市花之美和背后的文化故事传递给更广泛的受众。

　　金凤花1982年被评为汕头市花，其生命力旺盛，与汕头人积极进取、不甘人后的性格相得益彰，同时也象征着特区那种开拓创新、奋发向前、无私奉献的精神。
