On the afternoon of April 11 (Dubai time), the China (Shantou) - UAE (Dubai) Economic, Trade, Cultural and Tourism Exchange Conference was held with great fanfare in Dubai. The event was jointly organized by the Shantou Municipal People's Government and the UAE Guangdong Chamber of Commerce. Shantou and the UAE carried out investment promotion, project signing, exchanges and negotiations on cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, industry, and cultural tourism. These efforts would help both regions deepen practical cooperation and work together to foster a new era of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.

At the Exchange Conference, Shantou showcased its wind energy, textiles and clothing, toy creativity, and cultural tourism industries through themed presentations, highlighting the unique features of its industrial clusters and cultural tourism resources. The Exchange Conference also included the signing of economic and trade cooperation agreements. Ten projects were signed, covering cooperation and trade procurement in culture and tourism, new energy, toys, textiles and clothing, and food. The total value of these projects is approximately RMB 2 billion. An exhibition area was also set up at the event venue to showcase Shantou’s textiles, clothing, toys, and other technology and AI products, attracting visitors from the UAE who attended the event to explore and learn more.

中国（汕头）-阿联酋（迪拜）经贸文旅交流会在迪拜举办

　　迪拜时间4月11日下午，由汕头市人民政府和阿联酋广东商会联合主办的中国（汕头）-阿联酋（迪拜）经贸文旅交流会在迪拜隆重举办。汕阿双方围绕经贸、产业、文旅领域合作开展投资推介、项目签约和交流洽谈，助力两地深化务实合作，携手开创互惠互利、合作共赢的新局面。

　　会上，汕头市风能、纺织服装、玩具创意、文旅产业做主题推介，全方位介绍汕头产业集群特色及文化旅游资源。交流会还进行经贸合作项目签约，10个签约项目涵盖文旅、新能源、玩具、纺织服装、食品等合作与贸易采购，项目金额约20亿元。活动现场还设置展示区，展示汕头纺织服装、玩具等科技材料和AI产品，吸引阿联酋友人驻足了解。
