On the morning of April 28, the Haibin Road Eastward Extension Project in Shantou City was successfully completed. Many locals and tourists are eager to explore the newly completed project, stepping onto the long-awaited new traffic artery to experience the latest urban development achievements.

The Haibin Road Eastward Extension Project starts from Jinhuan Road and ends at East Coast Avenue, with a total length of about 5 kilometers. It includes three sub-projects: the Haibin Road Eastward Extension (Phase I) Project, the Zhugang New Town Seaside Access Road Project, the Haibin Road Eastward Extension (Phase II) Project, and the Binhai Space - the Initial Start-up Section Project. With the completion of the Haibin Road Eastward Extension Project, Haibin Road, Nanbin Road, Bay Bridge, and Queshi Bridge now create a 27.5-kilometer coastal corridor along the inner bay. On the one hand, this will vigorously promote the construction of the overall pattern of inner bay protection and development featuring "one area, three bays and multiple units", while further invigorating the cultural tourism economy along the corridor and helping to create a vibrant and attractive inner bay in Shantou City. On the other hand, this will open up new space for the "eastward expansion" development of urban industries, boost the development and construction of Zhugang New Town and other areas, and further promote the integrated industrial and urban development.

　　汕头市海滨路东延项目实现全线贯通

　　4月28日上午，我市海滨路东延项目实现全线贯通。不少市民游客趁“新”踏上期盼已久的交通新动脉，体验城市建设的新成果。

　　海滨路东延项目自金环路起至东海岸大道，全长约5公里，包括海滨路东延（一期）项目、珠港新城海滨便道工程、海滨路东延二期及滨海空间-先行启动段工程三个子项目。随着海滨路东延全线贯通，海滨路与南滨路、海湾大桥、礐石大桥形成了一条长达27.5公里的内海湾滨海走廊。一方面将有力推动构建“一域三湾多单元”的内海湾保护与发展总体格局，进一步激活沿线文旅经济，助推打造城市魅力内海湾。另一方面将为城市产业“东拓”发展开辟新空间，助推珠港新城等片区开发建设，进一步推动产城融合。
