From May 9 to 11, the 22ndNan'ao Science Conference took place in Nan'ao County, Shantou City. The event was organized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Shantou Municipal People’s Government. The Conference featured a lively discussion on the theme "Application of Coherent Diffraction Imaging in Life Sciences", with in-depth sessions focused on four sub-topics: "Light Source Facilities and Methodology", "Synchrotron Radiation and Life Sciences", "Cell Imaging", and "Tissue and Medical Imaging". Forty-six academicians and experts were invited to the conference to share their latest research advancements in their respective fields.
Since 2023, the Nan’ao Science Conference has hosted 22 high-level academic seminars focused on basic research, along with 7 prestigious academic exchange events. It has welcomed 1,218 experts and scholars (including 141 academicians) to Shantou for in-depth academic discussions. The Conference’s brand influence has steadily grown, further boosting Shantou’s popularity.

南澳科学会议第二十二次会议开幕
5月9日至5月11日，由广东省科技厅、汕头市政府主办的南澳科学会议第二十二次会议在我市南澳县开幕。会议围绕“相干衍射成像在生命科学中的应用”主题展开热烈讨论，并围绕“光源设施与方法学”“同步辐射与生命科学”“细胞成像”“组织与医学成像”四个细分议题开展深入研讨。46位院士专家应邀出席会议，交流各自在专业领域的最新研究进展。
自2023年以来，南澳科学会议已举办22场聚焦基础研究领域的高水平学术性研讨会和7场高端学术交流活动，邀请包括141位院士在内的1218位专家学者集聚汕头开展学术研讨，品牌效应逐步增强，汕头的知名度得到进一步提升。
