The "Large Wind Turbine Generator System (WTGS) Six-Degree-of-Freedom Full-Power Intelligent Testing Platform" project, a key project under the 2024 National Key R&D Program, has recently received official approval. This project application was based on the existing “Six-Degree-of-Freedom Experimental Platform for Electrical and Dynamics of the 40MW-Level Wind Turbine Generator System (WTGS)” at Shantou International Wind Power Innovation Hub. On the morning of May 13, Shantou City organized the relevant project institutions to hold the "Project Initiation and Implementation Plan Feasibility Study Meeting", officially marking the start of the project's implementation phase. After thorough investigation and detailed discussions at the venue, the expert panel reached a strong consensus on the strategy, innovation, and feasibility of the project implementation plan. They unanimously approved the assessment and pressed the "accelerator button" for subsequent construction.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and commissioned in 2027. After the project is completed, it will bridge China’s technical gap in full-power intelligent testing of large wind turbine generator systems (WTGS). It will also establish a world-class support platform for the research, development, design, and performance verification of offshore wind power equipment, contributing significantly to global energy transition and sustainable development.

国家重点项目“大型风电机组智能测试平台”正式执行
近日,依托汕头国际风电创新港“40兆瓦级风电机组电气及动力学六自由度实验平台”申报的国家重点研发计划2024重点项目——“大型风电机组六自由度全功率智能测试平台”项目成功立项。5月13日上午,我市组织项目有关单位召开“项目启动会暨实施方案论证会”,标志着项目正式进入执行阶段。现场经过严谨的质询与深入讨论,专家组对该项目实施方案的战略性、创新性与可行性形成了高度共识,一致同意通过论证,为后续建设按下“加速键”。
该项目预计2026年底建成,2027年投入调试。项目建成后将填补我国在大型风电机组全功率智能测试领域的技术空白,为海上风电装备的研发设计、性能验证提供国际领先的支撑平台,为全球能源转型和可持续发展贡献力量。
