Recently, Houhuayuan Village, Shen'ao Town, Nan'ao County was recognized as one of the Seventh Batch of National Civilized Villages. The Village is on the north side of Guolao Mountain in Nan'ao Island, with over 90% forest coverage, earning it the reputation as a "Natural Oxygen Bar". The Chinese nanmu trees are well preserved throughout the Village, and you'll find Alsophila spinulosa—plants under national Grade-I protection—scattered among them. The Village is truly blessed with unique ecological resources.

In recent years, Houhuayuan Village has leveraged Nan'ao Island's ecological strengths to champion green development through pioneering "zero-carbon tourism." The Village embraces low-carbon practices across every aspect of the visitor experience from dining, accommodation, transportation, activities, and shopping. As a result, Houhuayuan Village has become a top TikTok-worthy destination on Nan'ao Island. At the same time, by adopting the "enterprise + base + cooperative + farmer" model, the village successfully registered "Houhuayuan Zhuang" trademark for its distinctive Song Tea and cultivated the premium "Houhuayuan Song Tea" brand. The initiative led to the Village reputation as one of the Ninth Batch of National One Village, One Product" Demonstration Villages. Today, Song Tea has become an important industrial pillar of Houhuayuan Village and serves as a prominent symbol of tourism and culture on Nan'ao Island.

汕头南澳后花园村获评第七届全国文明村

　　日前，南澳县深澳镇后花园村获评第七届全国文明村。该村位于南澳岛果老山北侧，山林覆盖率超过90%，有“天然氧吧”的美称。村中保存着中华楠木群，更有国家一级保护植物桫椤点缀其间，生态资源禀赋得天独厚。

　　近年来，后花园村立足海岛生态优势，致力于以“零碳旅游”赋能绿色发展，从吃住行游购全链条践行低碳理念，使后花园村成为南澳岛的网红打卡点。同时，通过“企业+基地+合作社+农户”的模式，注册“后花园庄”宋茶商标，打造“后花园宋茶”品牌，被评定为全国第九批“一村一品”示范村，宋茶成为后花园村的重要产业支柱和南澳亮眼的旅游文化名片。
