On June 7, the "2025 Asia-Pacific International Rehabilitation Forum" took place in Shantou. Over 200 guests, including top scholars and clinical experts in rehabilitation medicine from both home and abroad, attended the event.

This Forum was co-hosted by the Guangdong Clinical Medical Association, Shantou University, and the World Health Organization Collaborating Center for Rehabilitation, and organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College. Through keynote speeches, special seminars, and innovative technology exhibitions, this Forum explored how rehabilitation medicine can be deeply integrated with cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI). This Forum set up a main forum and five sub-forums. At a sub-forum, the "Eastern Guangdong Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist Alliance" was officially unveiled. The Alliance is led by the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College and jointly sponsored by 27 medical institutions from Shantou City, Chaozhou City, Jieyang City, and other regions. The Alliance will integrate high-quality medical resources in eastern Guangdong and establish a standardized and homogeneous stroke rehabilitation diagnosis and treatment system.

2025亚太国际康复论坛在汕举办

　　6月7日，“2025亚太国际康复论坛”在我市举办，来自国内外康复医学领域的顶尖学者、临床专家超200名嘉宾参加论坛。

　　本次论坛由广东省临床医学学会、汕头大学、世界卫生组织康复合作中心联合主办，汕头大学医学院第一附属医院承办。大会通过主旨演讲、专题研讨、创新技术展览，探索康复医学与人工智能（AI）等前沿科技的深度融合路径。本次论坛设置了主旨论坛及五大分论坛。分论坛上，由汕头大学医学院第一附属医院牵头，联合汕头、潮州、揭阳等27家各级医疗机构共同发起的“粤东中风康复专科联盟”正式揭牌成立。该联盟将整合粤东地区优质医疗资源，建立标准化、同质化的中风康复诊疗体系。
