On June 6, the first Shantou Beef Culture Week kicked off in Shantou Small Park. By showcasing two intangible cultural heritage techniques—Shantou’s Stewed Beef Meatballs and Beef Hot Pot—this event further strengthened the golden brands of these two signature dishes and created a food culture feast with full public participation.

The event featured a lively mix of activities, from intense technique competitions to delicious tastings of fragrant beef products. It truly showcased the unique charm of Shantou's intangible cultural heritage techniques and food culture. To vigorously promote Shantou’s unique beef culture, the event introduced a special Shantou Culture and Tourism Gift Package. The Gift Package includes the coupons for popular beef meatball restaurants and the tickets to some of Shantou’s top tourist attractions. It’s designed to encourage visitors to appreciate Shantou’s beautiful scenery and distinctive coastal customs while enjoying its delicious cuisine. At the event, the Shantou Stewed Beef Meatballs Industry Association held a signing ceremony with banking institutions and Eastern Guangdong Technician College to support the Shantou beef industry’s next stage of development.

首届汕头牛肉文化周开幕

　　6月6日，首届汕头牛肉文化周在小公园开幕。本次活动通过聚焦牛肉丸、牛肉火锅两项非遗技艺，进一步擦亮汕头牛肉丸、汕头牛肉火锅金字招牌，打造全民参与的美食文化盛宴。

　　活动内容精彩纷呈，既有紧张激烈的技能竞赛，又有香气四溢的牛肉产品品鉴，充分展示汕头非遗技艺和美食文化的独特魅力。为加大汕头牛肉文化的推广力度，活动特别推出汕头文旅大礼包，包括汕头各大知名牛肉丸店的优惠券和特色旅游景点门票，吸引游客在品味美食之余，畅游汕头美景，感受滨海城市的独特风情。活动现场，汕头牛肉丸产业联合会与银行机构、粤东技师学院等举行签约仪式，助力汕头牛肉产业迈向新的发展阶段。
