On the morning of July 9, the 2025 "Family Affection for China • Chinese Root-Seeking Tour" (Fascinating Southern Guangdong Shantou Camp) began at Shantou University's Sangpushan Campus. The event was hosted by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and organized by the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Shantou Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.

This summer camp drew over 100 young overseas Chinese from countries like Spain and the United States to join in. During the ten-day trip, the campers would immerse themselves in the profound historical endowment that has been built on China’s over 5,000 years of civilization, explore the unique charm of Chaoshan culture, and experience firsthand the historical transformations and the spirit of the times of Shantou, a cherished homeland for overseas Chinese.

2025年“亲情中华·中国寻根之旅”（风韵南粤汕头营）在汕开营

　　7月9日上午，由中国侨联主办，省侨联、市侨联承办的2025年“亲情中华·中国寻根之旅”（风韵南粤广东汕头营），在汕头大学桑浦山校区开营。

　　此次夏令营共吸引来自西班牙、美国等国的100多名华裔青年参与。在为期十天的行程中，营员们将近距离感知中华五千年文明的深厚积淀，探寻潮汕文化的独特韵味，亲身感受汕头侨乡的历史变迁与时代风貌。
