On July 4, the Second Troupe of the Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre presented a special performance of Zhezixi (opera highlights) of Chaozhou opera at the Mazu Palace Stage. This event kicked off the 2025 Shantou Summer Chaozhou Opera and Music Performances, themed "Drama Pavilion Impression: A Rendezvous at the Mazu Palace Stage". Every Friday afternoon during the summer vacation, the performers would continue to bring colorful cultural feasts to citizens and tourists, letting the ancient Chaozhou opera and music spark a wave of summer cultural excitement on the historic stage.

These Summer Chaozhou Opera and Music Performances would feature traditional classic Zhezixi (opera highlights), Chaozhou drum music, excerpts from classic Chaozhou opera repertoire, classic arias of Chaozhou music, and excerpts from red-themed Chaozhou operas, along with other activities. These events would not only provide a platform for Chaozhou opera and music enthusiasts to connect and enjoy, but also allow the locals and visitors, especially teenagers, to get close contact with and feel the artistic charm of Chaozhou opera and music.

2025年汕头市暑期潮剧潮乐演出活动启幕

　　7月4日，由广东潮剧院二团带来的潮剧折子戏专场在老妈宫戏台举行，拉开了“戏亭印象·老妈宫戏台有约”2025年汕头市暑期潮剧潮乐演出活动的帷幕。暑假期间逢周五下午，将继续为市民和游客带来丰富多彩的文化盛宴，让古老的潮剧潮乐在老戏台点燃夏日文化激情。

　　此次暑期潮剧潮乐演出将举办传统经典折子戏、潮州大锣鼓、潮剧经典剧目片段、潮曲经典唱段、红色题材潮剧片段等活动，不仅为潮剧潮乐爱好者提供了欣赏交流的平台，也让广大市民游客，尤其是青少年，得以近距离接触和感受潮剧潮乐的艺术魅力。
