Recently, the 2025 Shantou Summer Performance of Chao Opera and Chao Music was held at the Mazu Palace Stage.The Shantou Chaozhou Music Troupe performed classic pieces, including the Chaozhou Drums Music “Feelings of the Chaozhou Hometown” and the Chaozhou string poetry music “Jackdaws Playing with Water”. The performances drew crowds of locals and tourists.The Chaozhou music "Qiaopi during Wartime", created and rehearsed by the Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre and the Shantou Chaozhou Music Troupe, interprets the story of Qiaopi (correspondence and remittance documents from overseas Chinese) during the War Against Japanese Aggression, offering audiences a unique musical experience.

潮曲潮乐专场演出在汕头老妈宫戏台举行

　　近日，2025年汕头市暑期潮剧潮乐演出活动之潮曲潮乐专场在老妈宫戏台举行。汕头潮乐团献演了潮州大锣鼓《潮乡情》、潮州弦诗乐《寒鸦戏水》等经典曲目，吸引众多市民与游客驻足。由广东潮剧院、汕头潮乐团创排的潮曲《烽火侨批》演绎了抗战时期的侨批故事，为观众带来别样的音乐体验。
