On August 26, Shantou hosted the event of “Fully Connecting with Guangdong's Four Major International Platforms and Showcasing Highlights in the 'Shantou Time' Program” in the studio hall of Shantou Media Convergence Group. The event fully demonstrated Shantou's innovative practice of leveraging provincial platform resources and building an international communication network through mutual empowerment.

Shantou, renowned as a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, has fully connected with Guangdong province's four major international communication platforms (IP, INFO, LIVE, and GO). It has leveraged its unique local resource endowment to create the "1+1+4" International Communication Matrix for Shantou Media Convergence. The city has established four major arenas of international communication, including INFO Shantou (information services for overseas Chinese), LIVE Shantou (slow live-streaming), GO Shantou (international visitor services), and IP Shantou (city image communication resources). Additionally, it has constructed an international communication matrix characterized by “effective coordination at different levels, and multi-party participation”. At the event, three foreign teachers and students from Shantou University—hailing from Thailand, Turkmenistan, and Ethiopia—were appointed as Shantou's "Global Promotion Officers" and extended a sincere "Welcome to Shantou" invitation to the world.

　　8月26日，我市在汕头融媒集团演播大厅举办“全面对接服务广东四大国际传播平台暨‘汕头时间’展示活动”，全面展现汕头依托省级平台资源，双向赋能打造国际传播矩阵的创新实践。

　　作为著名侨乡，我市全面对接省级“IP、INFO、LIVE、GO”四大国际传播平台，立足本地特色资源禀赋，打造“1+1+4”汕头融媒国际传播矩阵，建设INFO Shantou（面向华侨华人资讯服务）、LIVE Shantou（慢直播）、GO Shantou（国际参访服务）、IP Shantou（城市形象传播资源）四大国际传播主阵地，构建“上下联动、多方参与”的国际传播矩阵。活动现场，来自泰国、土库曼斯坦、埃塞俄比亚的三位汕头大学外籍师生受聘为汕头“全球推介官”，向世界发出“汕头欢迎你”的诚挚邀请。
