A launching ceremony was held on the morning of August 27 for the Shantou (High-tech Zone) Zelos Autonomous Urban Delivery Vehicle Manufacturing and Operation Project. This marked the official implementation of Guangdong Province’s first city-level project that integrates production, operation, and sales in the Shantou High-tech Zone.

The Project, a joint venture among Shantou High-tech Zone, Zelos Co., Ltd., and Shantou Investment Holdings Group, fully leverages the combined strengths of government policy guidance, state-owned enterprise resource support, and corporate technological innovation. This synergy provides a long-term guarantee for the Project through every stage, from R&D to implementation and operation. The Project will not only address the gap in manufacturing and operating autonomous urban delivery vehicles in eastern Guangdong, but also drive the agglomeration of upstream and downstream industries like smart components and Intelligent Vehicle-Infrastructure Cooperation (IVIC), thereby pressing the “acceleration button” for the development of intelligent logistics systems in Shantou and the wider South China region.

汕头高新区落地省内首个市域级无人驾驶物流配送制造及运营项目

　　8月27日上午，汕头（高新区）九识自动驾驶城配设备制造及运营项目举行启动仪式，广东省首个集生产、运营、销售于一体的市域级项目在汕头高新区正式落地。

　　该项目由汕头高新区、九识智能有限公司与汕头市投控集团三方联合打造，深度整合政府政策引导、国企资源支撑与企业技术创新优势，为项目从技术研发到落地运营提供长效保障。项目不仅填补了粤东地区自动驾驶城配设备制造及运营的空白，更将带动智能零部件、车路协同等产业链上下游集聚，为汕头乃至华南地区的智慧物流体系建设按下“加速键”。
