The East Guangdong Intercity Railway Project recently achieved a significant milestone when its control project, the Tashan Tunnel, was successfully holed through, making it the first completed tunnel on the entire line.

Located in Shantou's Chenghai District, the Tashan Tunnel is a 1,447-meter single-tunnel double-track railway, designed for speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour. It is a critical and challenging component of the East Guangdong Intercity Railway Project. Having completed the Tashan Tunnel, the project team will target critical milestones, coordinate and optimize resource allocation, and accelerate the construction of bridges, roadbeds, and other remaining work.

粤东城际铁路塔山隧道顺利贯通　　　

　　近日，粤东城际铁路项目迎来重大节点——控制性工程塔山隧道顺利贯通，这也是全线首座贯通的隧道。

　　塔山隧道位于我市澄海区，全长1447米，设计时速160公里，为单洞双线铁路隧道，是项目重难点工程之一。随着塔山隧道的贯通，接下来项目团队将以节点目标为导向，统筹优化资源配置，加速推进桥梁、路基等工程建设。
