On September 13, Embroidered Tiger, a newly adapted historical Teochew opera created and rehearsed by the Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre, was performed in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, part of the repertoire for the 19th at the China Theatre Festival, showcasing the artistic charm of traditional Teochew opera to fans across China.
This Teochew opera was developed by a top-tier creative team from across China. The script was penned by Guo Qihong, a renowned screenwriter from the Beijing People's Art Theatre. Lu Ang, head of the Directing Department at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, served as the general director. The production of this Teochew opera was a collaborative effort by CLASS-I Director Zheng Songming and CLASS-I Composer Wang Qingsu, both from the Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre. The lead role was performed by Lin Yanyun, a Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award winner and head of the Troupe I at the Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre. Selected as one of the "12 Excellent Dramas" by the Chinese Dramatists Association, Embroidered Tiger was showcased at the 19th China Theatre Festival. This recognition not only affirms the Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre's artistic prowess but also highlights the successful inheritance and innovation of Teochew opera, an ancient drama genre.

新编历史潮剧《绣虎》亮相中国戏剧节
9月13日，由广东潮剧院一团创排的新编历史潮剧《绣虎》作为第十九届中国戏剧节展演剧目在浙江温州展演，为全国戏迷呈现古老潮剧的艺术魅力。
该剧集结了国内顶尖创作团队，由北京人民艺术剧院著名编剧郭启宏执笔，上海戏剧学院导演系主任卢昂担任总导演，广东潮剧院一级导演郑松明、一级作曲王庆苏共同倾力打造；并由中国戏剧梅花奖获得者、广东潮剧院一团团长林燕云领衔主演。《绣虎》作为中国戏剧家协会精心遴选的“12部戏剧精品”之一，参加第十九届中国戏剧节剧目展演，既是对广东潮剧院艺术水准的肯定，更是对潮剧这一古老剧种传承与创新的高度认可。
