On September 18, Xie Guomin, Senior Chairman of Thai Chia Tai Group, and his delegation visited Shantou. During the visit, they engaged in in-depth exchanges with local officials on enhancing economic and trade cooperation and bolstering Shantou's development as a special economic zone in the new era.

At the discussion meeting, Wen Zhanbin, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, hoped that Mr. Xie Guomin, Chia Tai Group, and other overseas Chinese entrepreneurs would continue to care for, support, and actively contribute to the development of their hometown Shantou. He encouraged them to leverage the strengths of their enterprises together with Shantou's local resources, attract more high-quality projects, advanced technologies, and top-tier talent to Shantou, and inject strong impetus into Shantou's high-quality development.

Xie Guomin said that Chia Tai Group will seize the great opportunity presented by Shantou's modernization drive, further leverage its professional advantages, actively promote mutually beneficial cooperation, and strive to make greater contributions to the reform and development of Shantou.
