From September 14 to 27, the Shenzhen Art Troupe—comprising performers from the Shantou Acrobatic Troupe and the Shenzhen Song and Dance Theater—conducted cultural exchanges and performances in Papua New Guinea, Spain, and Nigeria.

On the occasion of Papua New Guinea's 50th Independence Anniversary, the Shantou Acrobatic Troupe and the Shenzhen Art Troupe traveled there to take part in the Amazing Port Moresby Arts & Music Festival. Their spectacular performance captivated an audience of over 10,000 people and sparked a wave of "China Chic". This time, the Shantou Acrobatic Troupe sent seven performers to the country to present four acrobatic programs. Having been invited back just three months after their last visit, their return highlights the people of Papua New Guinea's enthusiasm for Chinese acrobatics and the enduring vitality of cultural exchange between China and Papua New Guinea.

汕头杂技团携精湛技艺登上国外舞台

　　9月14日至27日，汕头杂技团和深圳歌剧舞剧院组成深圳艺术团赴巴布亚新几内亚、西班牙、尼日利亚三国进行文化交流演出。

　　在巴布亚新几内亚独立50周年之际，汕头杂技团随深圳艺术团一同前往该国参加莫尔兹比港奇妙艺术音乐节，精彩表演征服了现场一万多名观众，掀起一股“中国潮”。汕头杂技团本次派出7位演员，共献演4个杂技节目，是继三个月前到访该国后再度受邀，彰显了巴布亚新几内亚民众对中国杂技的喜爱以及两国文化交流的深厚活力。
