On the morning of October 10, the opening ceremony of the 2025 "Charming South Guangdong" Root-Seeking Summer Camp (Guangdong Shantou Camp), themed “China and Thailand Are One Family”, took place at the Chaoshan Historical and Cultural Expo Center in Shantou. This summer camp was sponsored by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and organized by the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Shantou Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.

This summer camp hosted over 30 Thai-Chinese teenagers. During the 10-day journey, they experienced the rich heritage of the 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization up close, explored the unique charm of Chaoshan culture, and witnessed both the historical evolution and vibrant modern life of Shantou, a hometown of overseas Chinese. They also reflected on the patriotism and deep love for their homeland shown by their ancestors, who overcame hardships and boldly forged new paths. Through this experience, they achieved a cultural reconnection and a spiritual sense of homecoming.

2025“风韵南粤”寻根夏令营（广东汕头营）开营　　　

　　10月10日上午，由中国侨联主办、省侨联和市侨联共同承办的中泰一家亲——2025“风韵南粤”寻根夏令营（广东汕头营）在汕头市潮汕历史文化博览中心举行开营仪式。

　　本次夏令营迎来三十余名泰国华裔青少年，在为期十天的旅程中，营员将近距离触摸中华五千年文明底蕴、探寻潮汕文化独特魅力，见证汕头侨乡的历史变迁与当代风貌，感悟先辈栉风沐雨、勇立潮头的爱国爱乡精神，实现文化寻根与精神溯源。
