The Press Conference for the 5th World Master Chefs Competition for Cantonese Cuisine Is Held in Shantou

On October 13, the press conference for the 5th World Master Chefs Competition for Cantonese Cuisine (WMCCCC) 2025 was held at the Shantou Marriott Hotel. The event will be held in Shantou from November 21 to 23. At that time, elite chefs from many countries and regions around the world will converge in Shantou to showcase their culinary prowess and compete head-to-head, creating a spectacular feast for both the eyes and the palate.


This event is guided by the World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry, sponsored by the World Master Chefs Association for Cantonese Cuisine, hosted by Shantou Catering Industry Association, and supported by the Guangdong Yuedong Technician College as the venue provider. The WMCCCC is a major event in Cantonese cuisine held biennially in renowned cities around the world. The WMCCCC this year features three categories: Cantonese cuisine, Chaozhou cuisine, and integrated Chinese cuisine. Each participating team must complete a dual challenge of preparing "Prescribed Dishes and Self-selected Dishes" within 90 minutes. This format fully showcases their technical skills, ability to balance flavors, and creativity in integrating cultural elements.

第五届世界粤菜厨皇大赛新闻发布会在汕头举行

  10月13日,2025第五届世界粤菜厨皇大赛新闻发布会在汕头万豪酒店举办。活动将于11月21日至23日在汕头举行,届时将有来自全球多个国家和地区的名厨大咖齐聚汕头,亮出看家绝活,同台PK厨艺,呈现一场视觉与味觉的双重盛宴。

  本次活动由世界中餐业联合会指导,世界粤菜厨皇协会主办,汕头市餐饮业协会承办,广东省粤东技师学院为场地承办机构。世界粤菜厨皇大赛是粤菜界的盛事,每两年在世界著名的城市举行。本届大赛设粤菜、潮菜及融和中菜三个组别,各组别参赛队伍需在90分钟内完成“规定菜式+自选菜式”的双重挑战,全面展现技艺熟练度、口味平衡能力与文化融合巧思。
