The 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) opened in Guangzhou on October 15. The Shantou delegation’s presence at the Canton Fair grew even larger this time, with a total of 427 exhibitors from Shantou. Their participation had also steadily improved in quality. Many Shantou companies showcased new products and technologies at the Canton Fair, fully demonstrating the hard power of "Shantou Intelligent Manufacturing", while actively expanding markets and securing orders. At the Canton Fair this time, Shantou added 37 new exhibitors, including many emerging companies as well as those in advanced manufacturing and scientific innovation.

第138届中国进出口商品交易会(广交会)10月15日在广州开幕。本届汕头分团参展规模进一步扩大，全市参展企业共427家次，参展质量持续提升。众多汕头企业携新产品、新技术亮相广交会，全方位展示“汕头智造”的硬实力，积极拓市场、抢订单。本届展会，我市新增37家参展企业，涵盖一批新锐企业和先进制造、科创类企业。
