On October 15, Chester Chong, Honorary Chairman of the Shantou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Chairman of the China General Chamber of Commerce - Los Angeles (CGCC-Los Angeles), led a delegation to Shantou for a cultural exchange.

The delegation, made up of key CGCC-Los Angeles members and young Chinese Americans, visited the Chaoshan Historical and Cultural Expo Center, the Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre, and other sites to gain a deeper understanding of Shantou's overseas Chinese history and cultural heritage.

As a leader in the Chinese American business community, Chester Chong is dedicated to promoting youth exchanges between China and the U.S. while actively sharing the unique charm of Chinese culture. He hopes young Chinese Americans will have the chance to return to their hometown Shantou, contribute to its development, and inspire others to discover the city.

洛杉矶（罗省）中华总商会在汕开展文化交流活动

　　10月15日上午，汕头市侨联名誉主席、美国洛杉矶（罗省）中华总商会主席庄佩源带队到汕头开展文化交流活动。

　　此次来访的代表团由商会核心成员及美国华人青年组成，先后走访参观了潮汕历史文化博览中心、广东省潮剧院等地，深入了解汕头华侨历史及文化脉络。

　　作为美国华人商界侨领，庄佩源致力于推动中美之间的青年互访交流，积极传播中华文化的独特魅力。他希望美国的华人青年有机会回来帮助家乡发展，带动更多人了解家乡汕头。
