On December 6, the Phase II section of the West Jinfeng Road project in Shantou was fully completed and opened for trial operation along the entire route. The project not only alleviates regional traffic congestion but also connects several villages and residential communities along the route. It further improves the road network structure in the city's western area, laying a solid foundation for the regional coordinated development of Jinping District.

As a key construction project in Shantou, the Phase II section of the West Jinfeng Road project starts from the Dagang River Bridge and ends at Xuelin Road, with a total length of approximately 3,080 meters. The project consists of three parts: the Phase II section of the West Jinfeng Road (Dagang River Bridge - Xuelin Road), the Dagang River Bridge on West Jinfeng Road, and the overpass bridge project for the main route of West Jinfeng Road (Phase II) over the auxiliary road of the Niutianyang Expressway. After entering trial operation, the road will become a major east-west transportation artery crossing the Dagang River, effectively easing traffic congestion on Daxue Road and South Touji Road while significantly reducing travel times for residents along the route.

汕头金凤西路二期全线试通车

　　12月6日，我市金凤西路二期全面建成并实现全线贯通试通车，不仅打通了区域交通瓶颈，更联通了沿途多个村庄与住宅小区，进一步完善了西片区路网结构，为金平区的区域协同发展奠定基础。

　　作为我市重点建设项目，金凤西路二期项目起点为大港河桥，终点至学林路，全长约3080米。项目包括金凤西路二期（大港河桥-学林路）路段、金凤西路大港河桥、金凤西路二期主线上跨牛田洋快速通道辅道桥梁工程等三部分。道路试通车后，将成为跨大港河的东西向交通大动脉，有效缓解大学路、鮀济南路的交通压力，显著缩短沿线居民的通行时间。
