At the start of the new year, smart parking systems in several of Shantou's core areas were successively launched, offering more parking spaces and enhanced services for residents and tourists.

During the recent New Year's Day holiday, the Xidi No. 1, Xidi No. 2 Area A/B, Xidi No. 3, and Tongping parking lots were officially connected to the "Shantou Zhixing" smart parking platform, adding over 1,200 new parking spaces. Additionally, the smart parking systems in the Dongxia, Jinfeng Peninsula, and Xinjin areas of Shantou went live simultaneously on December 30, 2025, bringing more than 1,700 smart parking spaces online. Currently, the 17 smart parking lots with over 2,200 parking spaces, and the parking bays on 87 main roads in the central urban area are interconnected online, covering eight core areas: Gaoxin, Donghai, Longxiang, Small Park, Fuyi, Jinfeng Peninsula, Dongxia, and Xinjin. This makes "Find a Nearby Parking Space in a Click" a daily convenience. Next, parking lots at popular landmarks such as the East Square of Shantou Railway Station and the Teochow People Wharf will be launched successively, adding more than 1,500 high-quality parking spaces.

汕头多个核心片区智能停车系统陆续上线

　　新年伊始，我市多个核心片区智能停车系统相继上线，让更多车位与更优服务陪伴市民游客出行。

　　刚过去的元旦假期，西堤1号、西堤2号A/B区、西堤3号及同平停车场正式接入“汕头智行”智慧停车平台，新增1200余个车位；市区东厦片区、金凤半岛、新津片区三大片区的智慧停车系统也于2025年12月30日同步启动，1700多个智慧泊位集体上线。目前中心城区17个智慧停车场、2200余个车位87条主干道泊位已联网互通，覆盖八大核心片区——高新片区、东海岸片区、龙祥片区、小公园片区、附一片区、金凤半岛片区、东厦片区、新津片区，让“一键找位、就近泊车”成为日常。接下来，汕头火车站东广场、潮人码头等热门地标停车场将陆续上线，再添1500余个优质车位。
