From 00:00 on January 26, the railway authorities will implement the train schedule for the first quarter of 2026. At that time, the high-speed railway network of Shantou Railway Station will undergo a significant capacity expansion, with the number of scheduled trains reaching a record high of 200. With the successive launch of new train services to destinations such as Longyan, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Kunming, and Nanning, Shantou is transforming from a railway "terminus" into a comprehensive transportation hub connecting to East China, providing direct access to Southwest China, and reaching multiple directions.

This time's train schedule adjustments for Shantou Railway Station include the addition of 24 new pairs of Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) and the suspension of 3.5 pairs of EMUs. Leveraging the full operational advantages of the Shantou-Shanwei High-Speed Railway, and in response to changing travel demands in the Eastern Guangdong region, Shantou Railway Station has focused on adding new cross-regional direct routes, increasing train frequency to core cities in the Pearl River Delta, and introducing the trains on an interlining service. This has achieved a transformation and upgrading of Shantou Railway Station's hub functions.

汕头站1月26日起开行200趟图定列车

　　1月26日零时起，铁路部门将实行2026年第一季度列车运行图。届时，汕头站高铁网络将大幅扩容，开行图定列车200趟，列车数量创历史峰值。随着龙岩、重庆、福州、昆明、南宁等全新方向的列车相继开行，汕头从铁路“末梢”一跃成为连接华东、直通西南、通达多方向的综合性交通节点。

　　本次汕头站调图变化包括新增动车组24对，停运动车组3.5对。依托汕汕高铁全线贯通的运输优势，汕头站结合粤东地区旅客出行需求变化，重点新增跨区域直达线路、加密珠三角核心城市班次、引入跨线经停车次，实现了汕头站枢纽功能的转型升级。
