At the beginning of 2026, Shantou Municipal Administration for Market Supervision (Shantou Municipal Intellectual Property Office), in collaboration with the People's Bank of China Shantou Branch and the Shantou Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Pilot Zone, successfully facilitated a credit loan of RMB 3.7 million for a local company through a "data IPR pledge + risk compensation" model. This marks the first "Data IPR Pledge Financing" deal in Eastern Guangdong. This financing is grounded in a thorough assessment of the value of data assets generated through the company's production activities. It uses the company’s data intellectual property rights as collateral to inject financial vitality into its subsequent technology R&D and market expansion.

Data IPR pledge financing is a new type of financing that uses a company's legally owned and registered data as collateral, representing a novel exploration in the capitalization of data assets. The successful implementation of this deal not only provides a new financing path for businesses, but also realizes a substantial leap of intellectual property rights from intangible assets to tangible assets. It also fills the gap in data IPR financing in Eastern Guangdong and creates a new example of FinTech-powered data assets.

汕头落地粤东首笔 “数据知识产权质押融资”

　　2026年伊始，市市场监管局（知识产权局）联合中国人民银行汕头市分行、汕头华侨经济文化合作试验区成功为我市某企业发放“数据知识产权质押+风险补偿”共370万元的信用贷款，成为粤东地区首笔“数据知识产权质押融资”。此次融资是在深入挖掘企业生产活动形成的数据资产价值的基础上，以该企业持有的数据知识产权作为质押物，为企业后续技术研发与市场拓展注入金融活水。

　　数据知识产权质押融资是以企业合法拥有且取得登记证书的数据为质押物的一种新型融资方式，是数据资产化的全新探索。该笔业务的成功落地，不仅为企业融资提供了全新路径，实现了知识产权从无形资产向有形资产的实质性跨越，更填补了粤东地区数据知识产权融资的空白，开创了科技金融赋能数据资产的新示范。
