To support Guangdong Province's transformation into a world-class tourist destination, the Department of Culture and Tourism Guangdong Province has partnered with Trip.com Group to launch an overseas influencer creative live-streaming program. On January 16, Shantou, a key city for the live-streaming program, welcomed the Mexican influencer couple Max and Noelia. Born in the 1990s and with 7.86 million followers, they turned their livestream lens on the city to capture its rich heritage as a renowned hometown of overseas Chinese, as well as the vibrancy of its daily life.

Live on camera, the Mexican influencer couple and a Shantou culture and tourism ambassador explored the city together. Starting from the modern and vibrant East Coast, they soaked in the expansive coastline against a backdrop of azure sea and sky. Their wanderings then led them to the Port-opening Area of Shantou Small Park, where they immersed themselves in the profound cultural heritage of the Ancient Qilou (Arcade) Street and indulged in a variety of local culinary specialties. They also had hands-on experiences with intangible cultural heritage crafts such as Chaoshan paper-cutting, oil-paper lantern making, Gongfu tea brewing, and the making of peach-shaped kueh (rice cake), showcasing the diverse charm of Shantou to a global audience.

墨西哥旅游达人直播打卡汕头

　　为助力广东建设世界级旅游目的地，广东省文化和旅游厅联合携程集团开展海外达人创意直播项目。汕头作为重点直播城市，于1月16日迎来拥有786万粉丝的“90后”墨西哥博主夫妇麦克斯（Max）和诺莉亚（Noelia），他们用直播镜头展现这座城市的侨韵风华与鲜活日常。

　　直播中，墨西哥博主夫妇与汕头文旅推荐官携手同行，从现代活力的东海岸出发，感受绵长海岸线与碧海蓝天；漫步至小公园开埠区，体验骑楼老街的人文底蕴，品尝本地特色美食。他们还亲身体验了潮汕剪纸、油纸灯笼制作、工夫茶冲泡、红桃粿制作等非遗技艺，向全球观众呈现汕头的多元魅力。
