Recently, the cross-river pipeline repair project of the external pipeline network of Shantou South District Wastewater Treatment Plant was successfully completed, with full restoration of wastewater conveyance.. The project innovatively incorporated fiberglass into the repair materials to enhance toughness, successfully achieving China's first single-pass cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining rehabilitation for a 550-meter ultra-long wastewater pipeline. This achievement has revitalized this "underwater lifeline", marking a major breakthrough for Shantou in safeguarding critical infrastructure and protecting the aquatic ecological environment under complex conditions.

This achievement fills a domestic technological gap and provides replicable "Shantou experience" for the rehabilitation and maintenance of pipelines in sensitive areas such as crossing rivers. Currently, the project's construction contractor is actively applying for the "Science and Technology Award of the China Urban Water Association".

汕头南区污水处理厂过江管修复工程全线告捷

　　近日，汕头南区污水处理厂厂外管网过江管修复工程顺利完工，全面恢复通水运行。项目创新在修复材料中添加玻璃纤维以增强韧性，成功实现国内首例550米超长污水管一次性成型内衬修复，让这条“水下生命线”重焕新生，标志着我市在复杂环境下保障关键基础设施安全、守护水生态环境方面取得重大突破。

　　这一成果填补了国内技术空白，为穿越江河等敏感区域的修复维护贡献了可借鉴的“汕头经验”。目前，项目施工单位正积极申报“中国城镇供水排水协会科学技术奖”。
