Recently, the Launch Ceremony of the 2026 Shantou and Taiwan Youth Exchange Season themed “Shantou and Taiwan Youth Forge Ahead Together to Make Their Life Blossom”, the Shantou and Taiwan Youth Arts Performance, and the Spring Festival Gathering for Taiwan Compatriots in Shantou, were con-currently held. These events were hosted by the Shantou Municipal Bureau of Taiwan Affairs and organized by the Shantou School of Culture and Arts, the Taiwan Dream Takeoff Band, and the Taiwan Ying Le Chamber Orchestra.

As a key program for youth exchanges between Shantou and Taiwan, the 2026 Shantou and Taiwan Youth Exchange Season will run throughout the year. It will invite Taiwan’s compatriots, businesspeople, youth, teachers, and students to participate alongside representatives from Shantou's youth groups, schools, and enterprises. This Season features ten specially curated events covering various fields such as culture, sports, and folk customs. Through a rich variety of formats, it will build multi-level, broad-scope platforms for exchange, fostering mutual understanding and friendship among youth from Shantou and Taiwan and encouraging them to forge ahead hand-in-hand. This will effectively promote deep cooperation between the two regions in cultural, economic, trade, and other fields, interpreting the fact through concrete actions that compatriots across the Straits always show concern for and help each other.

2026年汕台青年交流活动季启动

　　近日，由汕头市台湾事务局主办，汕头文化艺术学校、台湾梦想起飞乐团、台湾颖乐室内乐团承办的“青春同心 汕台同行”2026年汕台青年交流活动季启动仪式暨汕台青少年文艺汇演、在汕台胞迎春联谊活动举行。

　　作为汕台两地青年交流交往的重点项目，2026年汕台青年交流活动季将贯穿全年，邀请台胞、台商、台青、台师、台生与汕头市青年团体、学校、企业代表共同参与。本次活动季精心策划了十项特色活动，涵盖文化、体育、民俗等多个领域，以丰富的形式搭建多层次、宽领域的交流平台，推动汕台青年相知相交、携手共进，有效促进两地在文化、经贸等领域的深度合作，用实际行动诠释两岸同胞守望相助的手足之情。
