The Debut of the Second Batch of New Books Titled Chinese Food with Local Characteristics - Teochew Cuisine Culture Series Is Held

On February 11, the debut of the second batch of new books titled Chinese Food with Local Characteristics - Teochew Cuisine Culture Series and the symposium on high-quality development of Teochew cuisine were held in Shantou. Mayor Chen Tao attended the event and presented copies of the new books to the representative readers.


The Chinese Food with Local Characteristics - Teochew Cuisine Culture Series were compiled by Chaoshan culture researchers and authoritative experts and scholars in the field of catering, who have dedicated significant research findings to the Series. The Series balance expertise with public accessibility, covering multiple dimensions such as food, culinary skills, and culture to comprehensively showcase the profound heritage of Teochew cuisine. To date, all 10 volumes of the Series have been completely compiled. The first six volumes were debuted in Guangzhou in August 2024, and the second batch of four volumes were completed at the end of 2025, officially being debuted to the public at this launch ceremony.

  2月11日,《中华料理·潮菜文化丛书》第二批新书首发仪式暨潮菜高质量发展座谈会在汕头举办。市长陈涛出席活动并向读者代表赠送丛书。

  《中华料理·潮菜文化丛书》由潮汕文化研究者、餐饮领域权威专家学者倾注大量研究成果编著而成。该丛书兼具专业性与科普性,涵盖饮食、技艺、文化等多维度,全方位展现潮菜深厚底蕴。目前丛书10分册已全部完成编著,其中第一批6分册于2024年8月在广州首发;第二批4分册于2025年底完成,本次首发仪式正式面向公众推出。
