On the evening of February 18, the 2026 Shantou's Spring Festival Fireworks Extravaganza was spectacularly displayed over the Inner Bay. This year's Fireworks Extravaganza combined the auspicious imagery of the galloping "Horse" with the rich heritage of Shantou as a hometown of overseas Chinese and a commercial port, showcasing the city's image as a special economic zone that is open, inclusive, and striving for excellent performance. The 30-minute Fireworks Extravaganza, through a coordinated performance of fireworks, drones, and lasers, created an all-for-one immersive visual feast with "the sky as the curtain, the sea as the stage, and the city as the backdrop". It extended Shantou’s best Lunar New Year greetings to locals, tourists, and Chaoshan people at home and abroad.

　　2月18日晚，2026汕头市迎新春大型焰火晚会在内海湾震撼上演。今年的晚会将“马”的奔腾吉祥意象与“汕”的侨乡商埠底蕴结合起来，展现特区开放包容、奋勇争先的城市形象。30分钟的焰火秀通过焰火、无人机与激光的协同演绎，打造“天为幕、海为台、城为景”的全域沉浸式视觉盛宴，为市民游客与海内外潮籍乡亲送上美好新春祝福。
