On the morning of February 26, Shantou held a groundbreaking ceremony for its major projects for the first quarter of 2026, sounding the charge for making an all-out effort to promote major projects in a new year. In the first quarter, Shantou initiated construction on 40 major projects with a total investment of 21.8 billion yuan, covering multiple fields including industrial engineering, infrastructure, and people's livelihood security.

Industrial projects are the core sectors among the projects started this time, with a total of 30 projects focusing on advantageous and emerging industries such as intelligent manufacturing, textiles and clothing, new energy, food processing, and high-end equipment manufacturing. In the field of the “High-quality Development Project for Guangdong Counties, Towns and Villages”, 10 projects were started this time, focusing on people's wellbeing and industrial supporting facilities such as transportation networks, drainage and flood control, park supporting infrastructure, and coastal tourism.

汕头一季度40个重大项目集中开工

　　2月26日上午，我市举行2026年第一季度重大项目集中开工活动，擂响新一年大抓项目、抓大项目的战鼓。一季度，我市集中开工重大项目40个，总投资218亿元，涵盖产业工程、基础设施、民生保障等多个领域。

　　产业项目是本次集中开工的核心板块，共计30个，聚焦智能制造、纺织服装、新能源、食品加工、高端装备制造等优势及新兴产业领域。在“百千万工程”领域，本次集中开工项目共10个，聚焦交通路网、排水防涝、园区配套、滨海旅游等民生及产业配套。
