Recently, a signing ceremony for a cooperation framework agreement was held between Shantou China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Shantou-Zhanjiang Expressway East Section Development Co., Ltd. Through a preferential toll rebate policy, the two parties will remove policy barriers between the port and the expressway, effectively addressing the "last mile" logistics challenge, thereby supporting the high-quality development of Shantou's port-centered economy.

This signing marks a substantive step for the two parties in building a new ecosystem for port logistics characterized by efficient collaboration and shared benefits. Moving forward, through an integrated model of "Port + Expressway + Logistics", the two parties will effectively reduce transportation costs for logistics companies in the port economic zone. They will further optimize the collection and distribution systems of the Guang'ao Port Area, solidifying the logistics foundation for port economic construction and injecting new vitality into local economic development.
