Recently, Fine Horse Welcoming the Spring Festival and Blessings Filling the Home, works by Chen Xiaoyan, a municipal-level representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage Chaoyang paper-cutting, along with a Chinese New Year greeting video, were successfully selected for the "Blessings for the Year of the Horse" event. This event was part of the nationwide "Our Spring Festival · Celebrating Chinese New Year" series, connecting 12 cities across China. The works were also featured in a special exhibition at the Nanjing Folklore Museum, where their exquisite craftsmanship conveyed the festive spirit of Chaoshan and showcased the charm of Shantou's intangible cultural heritage to audiences across the country.

Chen Xiaoyan has been dedicated to the art of Chaoyang paper-cutting for decades, and her works, which blend traditional cultural roots with modern aesthetics, have won numerous national and provincial awards. The selected piece, Fine Horse Welcoming the Spring Festival and Blessings Filling the Home, incorporates Chaoshan folk symbols like the "Double-Biting Geese Dance", echoing themes of harvest, celebration, and culinary culture, carrying the blessings of the four seasons and the roots of cultural heritage on a single sheet of red paper.

潮阳剪纸亮相全国十二城联动直播

　　近日，国家级非遗潮阳剪纸市级代表性传承人陈小燕作品《骏马迎春福满门》与送福视频，成功入选“我们的节日·过好中国节”系列直播之“马上来福”全国十二座城市联动活动，并在南京市民俗博物馆专题展出，以精巧剪纸传递潮汕年味，向全国展现汕头非遗魅力。

　　陈小燕深耕潮阳剪纸数十载，其作品兼具传统文脉与现代审美，屡获国家级、省级奖项。此次入选作品《骏马迎春福满门》，融入潮汕“双咬鹅”等民俗符号，呼应丰收喜庆与美食文化，以一纸红纸承载四时吉祥与文化根脉。
