On the evening of March 31, the 29-day 2026 Shantou Small Park International Lantern Show came to a successful conclusion in the Port-opening Cultural Block of Shantou Small Park. Using lanterns as a medium, this year's Lantern Show deeply integrated Chaoshan culture, overseas Chinese culture, culture of Shantou Special Economic Zone, and industrial culture. It illuminated the century-old Qilou (arcade-style buildings), pooled the support and strength of overseas Chinese from all over the world, and vividly showcased Shantou's distinctive city spirit and cultural charm. Since its lighting on the night of the Lantern Festival on March 3, this year's Lantern Show featured themed lantern clusters in core areas such as Shantou Small Park Pavilion, Shengping Road, Anping Road, and Guoping Road. It created five major cross-street lantern arrays representing "Business Sectors", "Hundred Horses", "Hundred Blessings", "Ordinary Citizens", and "Hundred Blessings". The event also incorporated popular Chaoshan-themed photo spots, such as the peach-shaped kueh (rice cake), lion-headed geese, Teochew opera, and the Yingge dance. The brilliant lights illuminated the night sky of the hometown of overseas Chinese, allowing citizens and Chaoshan people at home and abroad to immerse themselves in the unique charm of Chaoshan culture while enjoying the lantern show.

2026汕头小公园国际元宵灯会圆满收官

　　3月31日晚，为期29天的2026汕头小公园国际元宵灯会在小公园开埠文化街区圆满落幕。本届灯会以灯为媒，深度融合潮汕文化、华侨文化、特区文化与产业文化，点亮百年骑楼、凝聚四海侨心，生动展现汕头独特的城市精神与文化魅力。自3月3日元宵夜亮灯以来，灯会在小公园亭、升平路、安平路、国平路等核心区域布设主题灯组，打造百业、百骏、百花、百姓、百福五大跨街灯笼矩阵，融入红桃粿、狮头鹅、潮剧、英歌舞等潮味打卡点，光影璀璨照亮侨乡夜空，让市民与海内外潮人在赏灯游玩中沉浸式感受潮汕文化魅力。
