On the morning of April 6, the unveiling ceremony for the first "Qiaokang Station" (Overseas Chinese Health Service Center) demonstration site in Eastern Guangdong was held at Aotou Community, Queshi Sub-district, Haojiang District, Shantou City.

The establishment of this Health Service Center represents a significant initiative by Shantou Overseas Chinese Hospital to deepen efforts to serve the overseas Chinese community. Shantou Overseas Chinese Hospital will collaborate closely with Guangdong Radio and Television Network Co., Ltd. Shantou Branch. Using this Health Service Center as a bond, they will continuously optimize service functions including a green channel for overseas Chinese medical care, health follow-ups, and remote consultations. These efforts aim to facilitate medical treatment for overseas Chinese returning to their hometown, safeguard the health of overseas Chinese and their families locally, and effectively build a strong "line of defense for overseas Chinese health in their hometown". At the event, a free clinic team composed of renowned Guangdong provincial and Shantou municipal experts provided one-stop health services to the public in the hometown of overseas Chinese, including free diagnosis and treatment, health screenings, and experiences with characteristic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapies.

粤东首个“侨康驿站”在汕头濠江揭牌

　　4月6日上午，粤东首个“侨康驿站”示范点揭牌仪式在我市濠江区礐石街道澳头社区举行。

　　该驿站的设立是汕头市华侨医院深化为侨服务的重要举措，医院将与广东省广播电视网络股份有限公司汕头分公司紧密协作，以该驿站为纽带，持续优化侨胞就医绿色通道、健康随访、远程咨询等服务功能，便利海外华人华侨回乡就医，保障在家乡的侨胞侨属健康，切实筑牢“侨乡健康屏障”。活动现场，由省市级知名专家组成的义诊团队，为侨乡群众提供了涵盖免费诊疗、健康筛查、中医药特色疗法体验等一站式健康服务。
