The much-anticipated Haojiang and Chaonan pilot sections of the Shantou Coastal Tourism Road have officially opened to the public. Spaning 33 kilometers, the coastal greenway weaves through picturesque mountain and sea landscapes. On the morning of May 1, a cycling event themed Enjoy a Leisurely Ride in Shantou on May Day kicked off at Beishan Bay on the Haojiang Pilot Section, attracting crowds of citizens, tourists and cycling enthusiasts.

Covering 26.2 kilometres, the Haojiang Pilot Section consists of a 13-kilometre northern segment, a 7.2-kilometre southern segment and a 6-kilometre transitional zone. To optimise travel convenience and visitor experience, the road is equipped with six service stations, four parking lots and multiple mobile public toilets, with shared bicycles available for scanning to ride. A host of coastal-themed check-in spots have been constructed along the route, highlighting marine elements and Chaoshan cultural characteristics. The scenic greenway offers an ideal leisure destination for cycling, walking and photography by the sea.

汕头滨海旅游路濠江先行段开通并举办骑行体验活动

　　备受期待的汕头滨海旅游路濠江、潮南先行段正式向公众开放，33公里滨海绿道串联起山海美景。5月1日上午，“五一向汕 ‘骑’乐融融”骑行体验活动在濠江先行段北山湾举办，市民游客与骑行爱好者集结出发，解锁汕头滨海旅游新体验。

　　滨海旅游路濠江区先行段道路全长26.2公里，分为北段13公里、南段7.2公里、过渡段6公里。为保障市民游客出行安全便捷、丰富骑行游玩体验，路段沿线布置了6个便民驿站、4个停车场和多个移动公厕，投放一批共享单车供游客随时扫码骑行。沿线还打造了多个主题特色打卡点，凸显滨海元素与汕头文化特色，让市民游客在骑行漫步之余，与大海、绿道同框合影，定格专属滨海的美好瞬间。
