Two Singaporean tourists visiting Shantou received the city's first service related to "Buy Now, Refund Now". This marks a significant breakthrough for Shantou in implementing the national departure tax refund policy and enhancing the level of facilitation for inbound consumption.

The "Buy Now, Refund Now" is a major facilitation upgrade to the departure tax refund policy. Unlike traditional departure tax refunds, which require queuing at departure ports, this service advances the tax refund process to the point of sale, significantly reducing waiting times for travelers. After receiving their tax refunds, tourists can complete customs verification procedures at any departure tax refund port within the mutual recognition zone, truly realizing seamless connection for "multi-leg journey" travel and consumption.

汕头首家离境退税“即买即退”商店落地

　　近日，我市首家离境退税“即买即退”商店在龙湖区万象城正式挂牌运营，两名来汕旅游的新加坡籍旅客完成全市首笔“即买即退”业务，标志着我市落实国家离境退税政策、提升入境消费便利化水平取得重要突破。

　　“即买即退”是离境退税政策的重要便利化升级，与传统离境退税需在离境口岸排队办理不同，该项服务将退税环节提前至购物现场，大幅缩短了旅客的退税等待时间。目前，广东已与福建、广西、海南等省份及地区实现离境退税“即买即退”跨区域互认，旅客领取退税款后，可在互认区域内任一离境退税口岸完成海关验核手续，真正实现“一程多站”式旅游消费无缝衔接。
