On May 31, the "AI Empowers Science • Intelligently Leads the Future of Industry” Forum and the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Shantou Electronic Information and Software Industry Association, jointly hosted by Shantou University and the Shantou Electronic Information and Software Industry Association, were held at Shantou University.

At the event, Shantou University released a new book titled Actions and Paradigms of Artificial Intelligence Empowering Scientific Research. Unveiling ceremonies were held for the Guangdong Network Computing Power Center, the AI-Empowered Engineering Technology Research Center, and the Shantou University AI Science Popularization Education Base. The Shantou University Scientific Research Computing Platform was also launched simultaneously. During the keynote speech session, several experts and scholars shared insights on cutting-edge issues including AI for Science, Token Innovation, and Embodied Intelligence. In the roundtable dialogue, representatives from enterprises such as Meta and Google, together with local scholars, discussed "AI-Empowered Industry Pathways under the Token Wave", offering advice and suggestions for the upgrading of Shantou's electronic information industry.

“AI赋能科学·智领产业未来”论坛在汕举行

　　5月31日，由汕头大学与市电子信息和软件产业协会联合主办的“AI赋能科学·智领产业未来”论坛暨汕头市电子信息和软件产业协会成立25周年活动在汕头大学举行。

　　活动现场，汕头大学发布《人工智能赋能科学研究的行动和范式》新书，并举行广东省网络算力中心和AI赋能工程技术研究中心、汕头大学人工智能科普教育基地揭牌仪式，同步发布汕头大学科研算力平台。主旨演讲环节，多名专家学者围绕AI for Science、Token创新、具身智能等前沿议题展开分享；圆桌对话中，Meta、谷歌等企业代表与本地学者共议“Token浪潮下AI赋能产业路径”，为汕头电子信息产业升级建言献策。
