Recently, Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) and the Shantou Food Industry Promotion Association held an Industry-University-Research Cooperation Symposium and a Signing and Plaque Awarding Ceremony at the North Campus of GTIIT. With the core goal of building a bridge between university research resources and the local food industry, the two sides will explore new models of university-enterprise collaborative innovation and industry-education integration, empowering the high-quality development of the regional food industry.

On the day of the event, attending guests visited food-related laboratories at the North Campus of GTIIT, focusing on the "Food Innovation Laboratory", which was built with an investment of CNY 20 million, to experience the cutting-edge scientific research capabilities firsthand. During the symposium, representatives from both sides engaged in lively discussions focusing on the commercialization of scientific research achievements, industrial application scenarios, and future cooperation paths, laying a solid foundation for subsequent substantive cooperation. Subsequently, the two sides signed an Industry-University-Research Strategic Cooperation Agreement and held the plaque-awarding ceremony for "Industry-University-Research Cooperation Partners", marking a brand-new phase of development for both sides in areas including the commercialization of scientific research achievements, talent development, and project incubation.

　广东以色列理工学院与汕头市食品产业促进会达成战略合作

　　近日，广东以色列理工学院与汕头市食品产业促进会在该校北校区举行产学研合作座谈会暨签约授牌仪式。双方将以搭建高校科研资源与地方食品产业对接桥梁为核心目标，探索校企协同创新、产教融合的新模式，赋能区域食品产业高质量发展。

　　活动当天，与会嘉宾参观了北校区食品相关实验室，重点考察了投资2000万元建设的“食品创新实验室”，实地感受前沿科研实力。座谈会上，双方代表聚焦科研成果转化、产业应用场景及未来合作路径展开热烈讨论，为后续实质性合作奠定了坚实基础。随后，双方签署产学研战略合作协议，并举行“产学研合作伙伴”授牌仪式，标志着双方在科研转化、人才培养、项目孵化等方面迈入全新发展阶段。
