On the afternoon of June 30, Antoni Mandemaker, Acting Consul General of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou, and his delegation visited Shantou. They conducted on-site inspections of the Shantou International Wind Power Innovation Hub and visited the Offshore Wind Power Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park that integrates research and development and design, production manufacturing and testing certification, exploring potential opportunities for exchange and cooperation with the city.

Antoni Mandemaker pointed out that Shantou's offshore wind power industry has built up unique advantages in resource development, high-end equipment manufacturing, as well as construction, operation, and maintenance. Its developable capacity ranks at the forefront of Guangdong Province, which is highly complementary to the Netherlands' technological accumulation in the offshore wind power field, presenting broad space for cooperation. He hoped that this visit would serve as an opportunity to promote stronger connections between Dutch enterprises and Shantou, deepen practical cooperation in areas such as offshore wind power equipment manufacturing, technological innovation, and talent cultivation, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes. Vice Mayor Peng Cong'en expressed expectations for further deepening economic and trade exchanges and industrial communication between the two sides. He hoped that the Acting Consul General and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou would continue to inject new vitality and add new momentum into the two-way cooperation between Shantou and the Netherlands.

荷兰驻穗代总领事唐孟坷莅汕访问

　　6月30日下午，荷兰驻穗代总领事唐孟坷一行莅汕参观访问，先后实地考察汕头国际风电创新港，参观“四个一体化”海上风电装备制造产业园，与我市探讨交流与合作的潜在机会。

　　唐孟坷指出，汕头海上风电产业在资源开发、高端装备制造、施工运维等方面已形成独特优势，可开发容量居广东前列，与荷兰在海上风电领域的技术积累高度互补，合作空间广阔。希望以此访为契机，推动荷兰企业与汕头加强对接，深化在海上风电装备制造、技术创新及人才培养等领域的务实合作，实现互利共赢。副市长彭聪恩期待双方进一步深化经贸往来与产业交流，希望代总领事及荷兰驻穗总领事馆持续为汕荷双向合作注入新活力、增添新动能。
